abstract |
The present invention provides a composition comprising a combination of (I) a polyoxasiloxane composition and (II) an organooxyalkylene block copolymer. The (I) polyheterosiloxane composition comprises at least one lanthanide metal and a decyloxy unit having the formula (R13SiO1/2), (R12SiO2/2), (R1SiO3/2) and/or (SiO4/2) . Each R1 is independently a hydrocarbon or a halogenated hydrocarbon group containing from 1 to 30 carbon atoms. The (II) organoaluminoxane block copolymer comprises from 40 mol% to 90 mol% of a dimethoxy unit of the formula [Ra2SiO2/2] arranged in a linear block, each of the respective chain blocks It has an average of 10 to 400 dimethoxy units [Ra2SiO2/2]. The (II) organoaluminoxane block copolymer also includes 10 mole % to 60 mole % of methoxy units arranged in a non-linear block, each having a weight average molecular weight of at least 500 g/mol, wherein At least one methoxy unit is a trimethoxy unit of the formula [RbSiO3/2]. Ra is independently a C1 to C30 hydrocarbon group and Rb is independently a C1 to C20 hydrocarbon group. |
