abstract |
The present invention is a high molecular weighting step of containing an aromatic polycarbonate resin obtained by reacting an aromatic polycarbonate prepolymer and an aliphatic diol compound in the presence of a transesterification catalyst to obtain a high molecular weight aromatic polycarbonate resin. A method for producing a polymerized aromatic polycarbonate resin in which a cyclic carbonate is removed from at least a part of the cyclic carbonate produced in the high molecular weighting step, which is excluded from the reaction system, is provided in more detail. The distillate of the by-product cyclic carbonate removed in the cyclic carbonate removal step is subjected to hydrolysis, and after separation of the oil and water as required, the purified aliphatic diol compound is separated, and the polymerization step is further performed. A method for producing an aromatic polycarbonate resin to be used. |
