titleOfInvention | Wavelength converting member and light emitting device using same |
abstract | The present invention relates to a method for producing a wavelength converting member, which is composed of a polycrystalline ceramic, and the manufacturing method is characterized by comprising the steps of: A) mixing a substance which becomes a source of cerium, a substance which becomes an aluminum source, and a source of calcium a substance and a substance which is a source of bismuth, B) a mixture obtained by firing to obtain an oxynitride phosphor powder, and C) sintering the oxynitride phosphor powder in an inert gas atmosphere to obtain a polycrystalline ceramic; Further, in addition to oxygen, the aforementioned oxynitride phosphor powder sintered has a composition formula: Cax1Eux2Si12-(y+z)Al(y+z)OzN16-z (wherein, x1, x2, y, a z-form, 0<x1≦3.40, 0.05≦x2≦0.20, 3.5<y≦7.0, 0≦z≦1) represents a composition; further, the oxygen content of the oxynitride phosphor powder is a ratio of the foregoing composition (1) The theoretical oxygen content of the oxynitride phosphor is excessive, and when the theoretical mass of the oxynitride phosphor represented by the composition formula (1) is 100% by mass, the excess amount of oxygen is 1.1 to 11.5. quality%. The present invention provides a wavelength conversion member which emits fluorescence in a wide wavelength region of a peak wavelength of 590 nm to 610 nm by excitation of light having a wavelength of 300 nm to 500 nm, and has high conversion efficiency at this time. The present invention also provides a wavelength conversion member which is superior in durability and high in efficiency, and further provides a light-emitting device in which a wavelength conversion member and a semiconductor light-emitting element are combined. |
