abstract |
The present invention relates to a novel process for the preparation of precipitated vermiculite, wherein: - reacting a phthalate with an acidifying agent to obtain a suspension of precipitated vermiculite, - filtering a suspension of the precipitated vermiculite to obtain a filter cake - subjecting the filter cake to a disintegration operation comprising adding an aluminum compound, - after the disintegrating operation, performing a drying stage, characterized in that after the addition of the aluminum compound, the filter cake is added to be selected from the group consisting of two a polycarboxylic acid of a carboxylic acid and a tricarboxylic acid. It also relates to novel precipitated vermiculite and its use. |
