titleOfInvention Method for producing a high-purity gold powder by using a drying method
abstract This invention relates to a method of making high purity gold powder using a drying process (a plasma process) for producing a gold target for use in the semiconductor field. The ingot used in the plasma process is a waste target and particle type, and the present invention is characterized in that high purity gold powder can be produced. According to the present invention, high-purity gold powder can be produced in a short time by a plasma process without requiring a post-process. In order to produce a high-purity gold powder, a metal impurity having a low melting temperature is formed by injecting a certain amount of waste target and particles while a cavity of the plasma device is under vacuum, simultaneously forming a plasma and a molten metal. After removal, the residual impurities are removed by deoxidizing gas, and then high purity gold powder is produced by changing the plasma power, the amount of plasma gas, and the holding time.
