abstract | The present invention provides a liquid crystal alignment agent which can provide a liquid crystal alignment film which is excellent in liquid crystal alignment, transparency, and abrasion resistance. The liquid crystal alignment agent is characterized by containing at least at least one selected from the group consisting of polyamic acid having a divalent group represented by the following formula (1) and a ruthenium-based polymer of the polyglycolic acid. 1 polymer.
