abstract | The present invention relates to a method for producing a ring-opening metathesis polymer hydrogen compound, which comprises subjecting a cyclic olefin to ring-open metathesis polymerization in the presence of a polymerization catalyst, and then forming a carbon-carbon double bond of the ring-opening metathesis polymer. A method for producing at least a portion of a hydrogenated ring-opening metathesis polymer hydride, characterized in that the polymerization catalyst is selected from the group consisting of the following formulas (I), (II), (III), and (IV) At least one hydrazine compound, and a resin composition comprising the ring-opening metathesis polymer hydrogen compound produced by the production method. According to the present invention, there can be provided a method for industrially facilitating production, particularly a ring-opening metathesis polymer hydrogen compound excellent in light transmittance, and a resin composition containing the ring-opening metathesis polymer hydrogen compound obtained by the production method. .
