abstract |
An illustrative embodiment of an irrigation system can include a carriage that can be moved in a reciprocating manner along a predetermined path. The tray can support one or more discharge ports for feeding a nutrient supply by a pressurized delivery configuration. One or more plant climbing frames can be configured and configured to span the carriage as it moves along the predetermined path. The one or more plant climbing frames may form a chamber into which plant roots may extend and the one or more discharge ports may discharge their nutrient supply into the chamber. The one or more plant climbing frames may include a number of side panels and a cap to reduce penetration of light and contaminants and enhance plant root/nutrient supply interface and absorption rate. The bracket and/or the plant climbing frame may include friction reducing elements that promote lateral movement. The bracket and/or the plant climbing frame can be supported by the frame. |
