abstract |
Provided is an article such as a medical device comprising at least one water soluble, crosslinked copolymer. The one-stage polymer chain of the copolymer is hydrophilic and its degree of polymerization is independently in the range of from about 10 to about 10,000. The water soluble, crosslinked copolymers of the present invention do not contain terminal substrate association segments. The copolymers may be incorporated into a formulation from which the article is made or may be post-formed upon contact with the article. |
