abstract The invention provides an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) system and method. An ADC system in accordance with one embodiment includes a sampled digital to analog converter configured to combine a sample analog signal value with an analog high frequency vibration value, and a control circuit including a mismatch shaped encoder. The control circuit is arranged to sequentially apply a plurality of digit codes to the sample digit to analog converter during the analog to digital bit conversion operation to derive a digital code representing a combination of the analog signal value and the analog high frequency vibration value. The invention provides several embodiments.
