abstract Provided is a technique for producing a pre-filled outer cylinder for a syringe having a high transparency by using a cyclic olefin resin as a raw material. In the method of producing an outer cylinder for prefilling a syringe which is formed by injection molding a composition for a cyclic olefin resin, in order to form an outer cylinder for prefilling a syringe, the core of the injection molding die is adjusted to a specific range. The surface roughness is produced by a pre-filled syringe outer cylinder which has a light transmittance of 70% or more when the light is transmitted through the side wall by a light having a wavelength of 450 nm which is vertically incident on the side wall of the outer cylinder for prefilled syringe.
