Phase difference film, method of manufacturing polarizing plate, and liquid crystal display device |
abstract |
An object of the present invention is to provide a retardation film which is less in swelling during immersion in a saponification liquid and which has good adhesion to a polarizer, although it contains a cellulose acetate having a low thiol substitution degree. The retardation film of the present invention comprises: a common logarithm of the absolute molecular weight Mw (a) obtained by GPC-LALLS-viscosity measurement, and a total logarithm of the base group [Mw(a)] obtained by GPC-LALLS-viscosity measurement. As the horizontal axis, the common logarithm log [Iv(a)] of the intrinsic viscosity Iv(a) is taken as a cellulose ester having a slope of a vertical axis of 0.65 to 0.85, and a glass having an SP value of 9.0 to 11.0. The retardation film for transferring the temperature-decreasing agent is characterized in that the amount of solvent remaining in the retardation film is 700 to 3000 ppm by mass, and the weight change rate of the film before and after storage at 80 ° C and 90% RH is -0.5~ 0.5%. |
