titleOfInvention | Use of Streptococcus pneumoniae neuraminidase as a method for diagnosing and preventing pneumococcal infections |
abstract | The present invention provides a method for diagnosing and preventing Streptococcus pneumoniae infection by using Streptococcus pneumoniae neuraminidase, mainly for the development of a vaccine for preventing infection of Streptococcus pneumoniae and for diagnosing a chest cavity from urine, blood and empyema. Whether the sample such as effusion is infected with Streptococcus pneumoniae. According to the present invention, in the case of hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS) caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae, most of the S. pneumoniae carry three neuraminidase genes (nanA, nanB and nanC genes), although anti-NanC serum inhibition or Neutralizing neuraminidase activity is not as good as anti-NanA and anti-NanB serum, but combining the three neuraminises together is the best vaccine reagent, which can be used as an ideal vaccine test to provide the best protection. To combat the infection of Streptococcus pneumoniae, to achieve a good effect. |
