Method for enabling microorganisms to simultaneously ferment five-carbon sugar and six-carbon sugar |
abstract |
The present invention relates to a method of using a microorganism to ferment a saccharide. The invention improves the saccharide metabolism related path of the target bacteria by means of genetic engineering, so that the target bacteria has the ability to rapidly metabolize five carbon sugars and six carbon sugars at the same time, and can simultaneously ferment five by using a single strain. The function of carbon sugar and six carbon sugar not only simplifies the fermentation process, but also reduces the cost of fermentation and enhances the efficiency of sugar fermentation. |
