The invention discloses a poly(alkylene ether) having an epoxybenzyl end group having a structure RWR, wherein W has a divalent poly(aryl ether) residue having a terminal of a phenol oxygen atom, and R is an epoxy benzyl ester. Base, where R appears the same or different each time. The poly(alkylene ether) having an epoxybenzyl terminal is prepared by reacting a peroxide-containing reagent with a poly(alkylene ether) having a vinyl benzyl terminal. The present invention also discloses a curable composition comprising the poly(alkylene ether) having an epoxy benzyl terminal, a curing accelerator, and an auxiliary epoxy resin arbitrarily used. The curable composition can be used to prepare composites, especially composites for the manufacture of printed circuit boards. |
