abstract |
The present invention provides a sustained-release preparation containing pioglitazone or a salt thereof as an active ingredient and exhibiting excellent sustained release properties. In the dissolution test according to the 50 rpm USP Paddle Method and the pH 2.0 KCl/HCl buffer at 37 ° C as the test solution, the sustained release preparation containing pioglitazone or its salt was at a 2-hour time point. The pioglitazone dissolution rate is shown to be an average of 25 to 58%, and an average of 60 to 100% at the 4-hour time point. |
