abstract |
The present invention provides an artificial gene expression inhibition method which is simpler in design and easier to confirm the effect than the prior method (RNAi method, ribozyme method, antisense method). A method comprising a translation reaction that cleaves a poly(A) strand of the target mRNA and/or a portion of the 3' end sequence. The present invention also provides a kit for inhibiting a translation reaction comprising a reagent for cutting a portion of a poly(A) strand and/or a 3' end sequence of a target mRNA; a cell in which the translation of the target gene is inhibited a drug having a poly(A) chain and/or a 3' end sequence which can cleave the target mRNA; and a non-human organism in which the translation reaction of the target gene is inhibited, which is introduced with a cleavable target mRNA A reagent for a portion of the poly(A) strand and/or the 3' end sequence. |
