abstract 茯苓Poria cocos is one of the Chinese herbal medicines. It can be separated from the fast protein chromatography system by anion exchange column and named as 丕希琵 (PCP). The nucleotide sequence of the selected sputum (PCP) was translated to have 121 amino acids, which showed a molecular weight of 12.7 kDa.丕希琵 (PCP) does not have the characteristics of agglutinated mouse blood cells, can activate mouse peritoneal macrophages, promote its production of TNF-alpha and IL-1 beta, and increase its antigen presentation ability; in the presence of anti-CD3 and anti-CD28 antibodies Next, 丕希琵 (PCP) activates CD4+ and CD8+ cells and increases the production of IFN-gamma and granzyme B, respectively. Feeding 丕希琵 (PCP) increased the amount of IFN-gamma secreted by cells in mice. In summary, it has been shown that 丕希琵 (PCP) has immunomodulatory activity.
