titleOfInvention |
Method for producing viral particles with simple glycosylated surface proteins |
abstract |
The present invention provides a method for preparing viral particles, the structure or surface protein of which is simple glycosylated. When used in vaccine production, the conservative nature of these positions renders the resulting vaccine less susceptible to viral mutations. The invention also discloses the use of a glycosylation inhibitor for the preparation of a virus having a simple glycosylated form. The present invention provides examples of influenza viruses and methods for preparing monoglycosylated influenza virus particles. The present invention provides a method for the preparation of a monoglycosylated form of influenza A virus NIBRG-14 (H5N1). |
