Glass substrate for flat panel display and manufacturing method of same glass substrate |
abstract |
The object of the present invention is to provide a glass substrate for a flat panel display and a glass substrate which can adversely affect the quality of display images by preventing damage to the surface of the glass substrate, regardless of the size of the surface of the glass substrate, by a simple configuration. Manufacturing method. A glass substrate (100) for a flat panel display according to the present invention is provided with a plain glass (10) and a light transmissive polymer film (12). The plain glass (10) has a surface having an arithmetic mean roughness Ra of, for example, 0.7 nm to 70 nm by roughening by etching. The light transmissive polymer film (12) is a surface-treated surface coated on the plain glass (10). The light-transmitting polymer film (12) has a thickness of, for example, 0.5 μm or more. |
