titleOfInvention | Method for producing carbonyl sulfide |
abstract | The present invention provides an efficient method for producing sulfurized carbonyl groups by reacting sulfur with carbon monoxide in a liquid phase. In the presence of a base catalyst, in a reactor equipped with a reaction liquid in which sulfur is dissolved or suspended in an organic solvent, carbon monoxide is continuously introduced at a temperature of 40 to 120 ° C under a pressure of 0.2 to 3.0 MPa. The sulfur is reacted with carbon monoxide to form a carbonyl sulfide group, the gas phase portion is withdrawn from the reactor, and the extracted gas phase portion is cooled by using a cooler to condense the sulfurized carbonyl group contained in the gas phase portion, and the condensed sulfide is continuously withdrawn. The carbonyl group is fed back to the reactor by the uncondensed gas of the cooler, and the carbonyl sulfide is continuously produced. |
