abstract It is an object of the present invention to provide a freeze-dried aripiprazole powder formulation which has good dispersibility and which can be readily dispersed into a homogeneous suspension upon reconstitution by water. The present invention provides a freeze-dried aripiprazole formulation obtained by the method comprising the steps of: spray-freezing a (I) aripiprazole, (II) a carrier for the aripiprazole, and (III) Aripiprazole suspension for water for injection, followed by drying.
