abstract The present invention relates to a method for making touch panel. The method includes steps of: providing a substrate having a surface defining a plurality of target areas with each including two areas: a touch and view area and a trace area; forming an adhesive layer on the surface; forming a carbon nanotube layer on the adhesive layer; solidifying the adhesive layer; forming electrodes and conductive traces on the carbon nanotube layer of each target area; removing the carbon nanotube layer on the trace areas; and cutting and obtaining a plurality of touch panels.
