abstract The purpose of the invention is to provide a lithium ion secondary battery without deviation in its electrical capacity. Therefore, quality deviation of the chromate film on the copper film for negative electrode collector is eliminated. To achieve this purpose, a copper film having chromate film for negative electrode collector is used. The copper film having chromate film is for negative electrode of lithium ion secondary battery, characterized in that more than 85 area% of the chromate film having Cr(OH)3. Preferably, the chromium of the chromate film of the copper film having chromate film for negative electrode collector of the present invention has an apparent coordination number N above 4.5 by nearing oxygen.
