abstract | This invention provides a polyester composition, which uses a polyester as a main component, and is characterized by containing phosphorus acid and phosphate alkali metal salts; the content P (mol/t) of the phosphorus element relative to the total polyester composition being 1.8 mol/t to 5.0 mol/t; comprising at least one metal element such as Mn or Ca; and the content of the bivalent metal elements except Mn, Ca relative to the total polyester composition each being below 5ppm. When the content of alkali metal element relative to the total polyester composition is taken as M1 (mol/t) and the total content of Mn element and Ca element relative to the total polyester composition is taken as M2 (mol/t), the metal content M (mol/t) in the polyester composition calculated by the following formula (i) satisfies the following formula (ii): (i) M= M1/2+M2 (ii) 1.1 ≤ M/P ≤ 3.0. In addition, this invention also provides a film, a sheet shaped structure body, an electro-insulation sheet and a solar cell back sheet using the polyester composition, and production methods thereof. The polyester composition, and the film, sheet shaped structure body, electro-insulation sheet and solar cell back sheet using the polyester composition are excellent in heat resistance and wet-and-heat resistance. |
