A novel compound represented by general formula (1). In the formula, A represents an aromatic hydrocarbon ring group or an aromatic heteroring group each of which may be substituted; B represents a group produced by linking one to four groups independently selected from groups represented by specific formulae (B-1) - (B-13) (e.g., -C=C-, -N=N-, etc.; as for specific examples, see the statements in the description); R1 - R3 independently represent a hydrocarbon group or a hydrocarbonoxy group each of which may be substituted, wherein at least one of R1 - R3 represents a hydrocarbonoxy group which may be substituted; and R4 and R5 independently represent a hydrocarbon group which may be substituted, wherein R4 and R5 may be bound to each other to form a ring, or R4 and R5 may be independently bound to A to form a ring. |
