titleOfInvention | Liquid crystal aligning agent, liquid crystal alignment film and liquid crystal display element |
abstract | The present invention provides a liquid crystal aligning agent used to produce a liquid crystal alignment film that is not easy to cause shavings or scratches brought with rubbing treatment and has lower reduction of voltage retention rate even after light irradiation for a long time. The liquid crystal aligning agent of this invention contains the component (A) and the component (B), which are described as follows: Component (A) is an amine compound represented by the following formula (I) having one primary amino group and one hydroxyl group in one molecule, wherein the primary amino group and the hydroxyl group are bonded to an aliphatic hydrocarbon group or a non-aromatic cyclic hydrocarbon group; Compound (B) is at least one polymer selected from a group consisting of polyimide precursors and polyimides. In chemical formula (I), X1 is an organic group having an aliphatic hydrocarbon group or a non-aromatic cyclic hydrocarbon group; X2 is a single bond, -O-, -NH-, -CO-, -COO-, -OCO-, -NH-, -N(CH3)- , -NHCO-, -N(CH3)CO-, -CONH-, -CON(CH3)- , -S-, or -SO2-; X3 is a single bond, benzene ring or cyclohexyl ring; X4 is a single bond, -O-, -CO-, -COO-, -OCO-, -NH-, -N(CH3)- , -NHCO-, -N(CH3)CO-, -CONH-, -CON(CH3)- , -S-, or -SO2-; X5 is a single bond or an organic group having an aliphatic hydrocarbon group or a non-aromatic cyclic hydrocarbon group; and n is an integer of 1-5. |
