abstract The present invention is a protective sheet for the back surface of solar cell modules which comprises a polybutylene terephthalate resin, has a thickness of 200-500 μ m when unstretched, and exhibits a thermal shrinkage of at most 1.5% in the take-off direction and the direction perpendicular thereto at a temperature of 150 DEG C. The protective sheet according to the present invention is manufactured by extruding a polybutylene terephthalate resin by means of a flat die, and passing the extruded sheet through the nip between a rubber roll and a metal roll having a preset surface temperature in the range of 25-90 DEG C.
