abstract | This invention provides a surface treatment agent for hydraulic transfer, which may be used in a hydraulic method for performing hydraulic transfer decoration with high adhesiveness on an article to be transferred, i.e. an olefin based substrate difficult to be bonded. This invention also provides a method of hydraulic transfer and a hydraulic transfer product using the surface treatment agent for hydraulic transfer. The surface treatment agent for hydraulic transfer according to this invention is used in a method of hydraulic transfer for hydraulic transferring on a polyolefin based substrate, the method of hydraulic transfer being performed by coating an activator on a dried printed pattern on a water soluble film, and after adherability of the printed pattern being recovered, hydraulic transferring the printed pattern onto the surface of the surface processing layer of the polyolefin based substrate that has been processed with a surface treatment agent, so as to form a decoration layer, the surface treatment agent for hydraulic transfer is characterized in that it is a resin composition containing: a modified polyolefin (a), a multifunctional isocyanate (b), and a solvent (c), and the compounding ratio of the multifunctional isocyanate (b) relative to the polyolefin (a) being 0.005 to 0.5 based on the weight ratio(b/a). This invention also provides a method of hydraulic transfer and a hydraulic transfer product using the surface treatment agent for hydraulic transfer. |
