abstract | A formulation of ceramic glaze with metallic gloss is as follows. The major constituent of a base glaze are basalt and flux controlled at 40 to 55wt%, 45 to 60wt% respectively. The constituents are mixed with water and grind into a slip, then spray coating on the ceramic body. The firing process is included oxidation atmosphere control, heating time 4 to 8 hour to temperature 1130 to 1210 DEG C, and maturation time 10 to 30 minute. |
