abstract | The subject of the present invention is to provide an optical resin, which is sandwiched between a front panel and an image display part of an image display device comprising the front panel and the image display part. The optical resin increases the legibility and impact resistance and has non-fluidity. The optical resin associated with the present invention is characterized by containing the following ingredients (A), (B) and (C): (A) a compound with two or more (meth)acryloyl groups and a number average molecular weight greater than 1000, wherein the value of the number average molecular weight divided by the number of (meth)acryloyl groups of each molecule is greater than 500; (B) a compound not containing a (meth)acryloyl group and having a viscosity of 0.1-20 Pa.s under 25 DEG C measured by a B type viscometer and a number average molecular weight of 500-20000; and (C) a photopolymerization initiator, wherein the optical resin is formed by curing the composition for optical resin having 5-50 mass parts of compound (A) relative to 100 mass parts of compound (B). |
