abstract |
The purpose of the present invention lies in providing a light-weight and shape degree of freedom containing formed body constituted by fiber reinforced composite material containing reinforcing fiber and thermoplastic resin. The formed body of the present invention is the formed body with isotropic excellence, constituted by the fiber reinforced composite material existing in the thermoplastic resin to have the discontinuous reinforced fiber to carry out on its surface the isotropic and two-dimensional orientation and characterized in that in the reinforcing fiber contained in the formed body, the ratio of the reinforcing fiber bundle (A) constituted by those above the critical mono-filament number defined by the below-mentioned formula (1) relative to the total amount of the reinforcing fiber in the formed body is above 20 Vol% and below 90 Vol%, and the average fiber number (N) in the reinforcing fiber bundle (A) satisfies the below-mentioned formula (2): (1) The critical mono-filament number = 600/D; (2) 0.7 * 10<SP>4</SP>>/D<SP>2</SP> < N < 1 * 10<SP>5</SP>/D<SP>2</SP> (wherein D is the average fiber diameter (μm) of the reinforcing fiber). |
