Curable epoxy resin composition and optical semiconductor device using the same |
abstract |
A curable epoxy resin composition of the present invention comprises a rubber particle modified epoxy compound (A) that the rubber particles are dispersed in an alicyclic epoxy compound. The curable epoxy resin composition further comprises alumina (B) and aliphatic polyglycidyl ether (C) with viscosity at 25 DEG C of 8000 mPa.s or more. The rubber particles are constituted by the polymer taking (meth)acrylate as an essential component. The rubber particles have hydroxyl groups and/or carboxyl groups on the surface, their average particle size is 10 nm to 500 nm and their maximum particle size is 50 nm to 1000 nm. The difference between the refractive index of the rubber particles and the refractive index of the cured product of the curable epoxy resin composition is within ± 0.03. |
