The present invention provides a metal oxide material for anode of lithium ion battery. The metal oxide material for anode of lithium ion battery is Li (LiwNixCoyMnz) O2, wherein w+x+y+z=1, and the metal oxide material for anode of lithium ion battery has a space group C2/m of a single-phase structure. The present invention also relates to a lithium ion battery, which includes an anode, and the anode contains the metal oxide material for anode of lithium ion battery Li (LiwNixCoyMnz) O2. Thus, by providing the metal oxide material for anode of lithium ion battery with space group C2/m of a single-phase structure, the present invention may control the oxide layer to be arranged in an ABAB manner, such that the lithium ions with the lattice may be almost completely released to generate the capacitance effect with higher charge/discharge ratio. |
