A conductive aniline-type polymer of the invention comprises a unit represented by formula (1) as below, and the area ratio is more than 1. 20, wherein the area is determined by the integration of the peaks of the polymer fraction with molecular weights more than 15000Da appearing in the chromatogram and the area is determined by the integration of the peaks of the polymer fraction with molecular weights under 15000Da appearing in the chromatogram, when molecular weight distribution is measured by gel permeation chromatography and the retention time is converted into molecular weight using sodium polystyrenesulfonate as a standard. In addition, a method for producing the conductive aniline-type polymer includes a polymerization process in which a specific aniline derivative is polymerized under 25 DEG C in a solution including a basic compound, a solvent, and an oxidizing reagent, or a polymerization process in which a specific aniline derivative and an oxidizing reagent are added into the solution dissolving or dispersing a conductive aniline-type polymer having a unit represented by formula (1) as below in solvent, and then polymerization is performed. |
