titleOfInvention Preparation method for lithium iron phosphate cathode material
abstract The present invention provides a preparation method for lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) cathode material, which uses a semichemical method to promote reactivity and uniformity and classifies the raw materials traditionally used to prepare LiFePO4 material into water-soluble raw material and non-water-soluble raw material. This preparation method includes: firstly dissolving the water-soluble raw material in water; adding non-water-soluble raw material; then adding a dispersant, a carbon source and an iron replacement element compound; grinding and mixing homogeneously to form a slurry containing all components of lithium iron phosphate; preparing precursor powder from said homogeneous slurry mixture by a spray granulation method; calcinating said precursor powder at 600-800 DEG C for 1 to 24 hours under a reducing atmosphere; and finally smashing the powder to obtain end product. This preparation method has a simple procedure to be suitable for industrialized mass production, a homogenous mixed raw material to produce a product having uniform performance, and also can prepare a lithium iron phosphate having stable mass character to produce a product having excellent service life and charge/discharge capability; therefore, this preparation method can overcome the problems that present in current preparation method for lithium iron phosphate.
