abstract | A film for package with excellent transversality and a method for fabricating the same are provided. The film for package includes a resin composition of polymethylpentene-1 series, which includes (A) 100 parts by mass of polymethylpentene-1 series resin and (B) 0.5 to 60 parts by mass of polybutene-1 series resin and/or 0.1 to 20 parts by mass of liquid paraffin, wherein the total amount of ingredient does not exceed 75 parts by mass; and the film satisfies that (1) the cutting deviation magnitude( δ ) in a film cutting test is no more than 10 mm, (2) the ratio P/Q of the tensile elongation of the end part of the film in longitudinal direction (P) to the tensile elongation of the end part of the film in lateral direction (Q) is no more than 0.25, and (3) the film thickness is 3 μ m to 30 μ m. |
