abstract |
The present invention provides a rechargeable secondary battery loaded on electronic equipments, industrial equipments, automobiles and the like; as well as provides a negative electrode and a copper foil for a negative electrode collector applicable to thereof. A negative electrode for a secondary battery is a negative electrode used for a secondary battery using non-aqueous electrolyte where a silicon-based active substance film is formed on one side or two sides of the collector using copper foil or copper alloy foil. It is characterized in that a silicon-based active substance film of 1g/m<SP>2</SP> to 14g/m<SP>2</SP> is formed on the foregoing collector, further, the surface of negative electrode of the said silicon-based active substance film has a brightness Y of XYZ chromatic system (CIE1931 standard chromatic system) in a range of from 15 to 50, and surface roughness (ten point average roughness) Rz according to Japanese industry standard (JIS B0601-1994 ten point average roughness) is not less than 1.0 μ m and not more than 4.5 μ m. |
