Method for preparing sugar chain of antibody |
abstract |
A method for preparing a sugar chain of an antibody is disclosed. First, the sugar chain is cut out from the antibody while the antibody is allowed to bind to an absorbent, such as the Protein A or the Protein G. Then, the excised sugar chain is trapped by a solid support trapping support with a functional group, which reacts specifically with the aldehyde group of the sugar chain and forms an stable bonding with it. By releasing the trapped sugar chain from the support again, sugar chain samples can be prepared easily and quickly and subjected to a mass analysis, chromatography, or electrophoresis. |
