abstract |
An electrical deionized water production device including a desalination treatment section comprising a desalination chamber D, and two concentrating chambers C1 and C2 provided adjacent to both sides of the desalination chamber D and being filled with anion exchanger. The desalination chamber D is segmented by anion-exchange membrane into a first small desalination chamber D-1 adjacent to the concentrating chamber C1 and a second desalination chamber D-2 adjacent to the concentrating chamber C2. The first small desalination chamber D-1 is filled with anion exchanger. The second desalination chamber D-2 is filled with anion exchanger and cation exchanger in such an order that the ion exchanger through which the treated water last passes is anion exchanger. |
