abstract The present invention provides a thin film solar cell and fabrication method thereof. The thin film solar cell comprises a thin film solar cell body and at least one film layer. The fabrication method includes the following steps: forming the at least one film layer on the second surface of the thin film solar cell body, such that the user may see through the thin film solar cell when viewing from the first surface toward the second surface; but, the user may only see the reflection in a specific color but not seeing through the thin film solar cell when viewing from the second surface toward the first surface. The thin film solar cell with color layer according to the present invention may be used for curtain wall of a building, such that the people inside the building may see through the curtain wall, but the people outside the building cannot see through the curtain wall and observe the interior of the building.
