abstract | This invention provides a liquid crystal display device in which a front-side polarizing plate 20 is laminated on a viewing side of a liquid crystal cell 10 via a first pressure sensitive adhesive layer 41, a back-side polarizing plate 30 is laminated on an opposite side via a second pressure sensitive adhesive layer 42, and a back light unit 60 is disposed on the outside of the liquid crystal cell 10. The back-side polarizing plate 30 has a layer configuration consisted of a first transparent protective film 32 / a polarizing film 31 / a second transparent protective film 33 / a third pressure sensitive adhesive layer 43 / a phase difference film 35 from the back light unit 60 side, wherein the phase difference film 35 has a three-layered configuration in which skin layers 37 composed of an acrylic resin composition containing rubber particles are formed on both sides of a core layer 36 composed of a styrene resin. Any of the first pressure sensitive adhesive layer 41, the second pressure sensitive adhesive layer 42 and the third pressure sensitive adhesive layer 43 is composed of a material having a storage modulus at 50 DEG C of 0.01Mpa to 0.1Mpa. Thereby, this invention provides a liquid crystal display device having a small warpage even if the liquid crystal display device has been put in a wet and humid environment, and having few display unevenness. |
