abstract Provided is a molded object characterized by comprising a layer which comprises a polysilazane compound and a clay mineral and by having a water vapor transmission, as measured in a 40 C atmosphere having a relative humidity of 90%, of 6.0 g/m2/day or less. Also provided are a process for producing the molded object, a member for electronic devices which comprises the molded object, and an electronic device equipped with the member for electronic devices. The molded object has excellent gas-barrier properties, transparency, and flex resistance.
