abstract | This invention discloses a V-ribbed power transmission belt and a method for manufacturing the same. The V-ribbed power transmission belt comprises a base and a polarity of V-ribs. The base is an annular belt body and at least one core yarn which made from twisting at least one first fiber is disposed into the base. The V-ribs are disposed on the inner side of the base. The base and the V-ribs are formed by Ethylene-Propylene rubber (EPR) wherein a predetermined parts of the second fiber per hundred parts of rubber are disposed.When the V-ribbed power transmission belt surrounds at least one pulley, the V-ribs lean against the grooves of the pulley. When at least one pulley is rotating, the V-ribbed power transmission belt makes the pulleys rotate. |
