abstract A carbon oxide capturing system at least includes a feeding/discharging portion, a first reactor, a second reactor, a connecting tube and a sorbent storage tank. The first reactor has a gaseous inlet for introducing a pure CO2 gas or a gas containing CO2. The calcined sorbent is directed to the first reactor by the feeding/discharging portion, and the sorbent reacts with CO2 to form a spent sorbent via carbonation. The spent sorbent formed in the first reactor falls due to the gravity, and is then delivered to the second reactor via the connecting tube. The second reactor is positioned at the lower side of the first reactor and connected to the first reactor via the connecting tube. The spent sorbent is subjected to a regeneration treatment (ex: calcined) in the second reactor to release CO2, thereby regenerating the calcined sorbent. The sorbent storage tank is connected to an outlet of the second reactor for receiving the calcined sorbent generated from the second reactor.
