abstract | An adhesive fabricating method includes providing an acrylate monomer of 50 to 99.9 parts by weight, an epoxy-containing monomer of 1 to 50 parts by weight, and a solvent. The acrylate monomer and the epoxy-containing monomer are dissolved in the solvent and undergo a copolymerization reaction to produce a copolymer. A mixture is comprised of a blend of the copolymer and a cationic photoinitiator. The mixture is treated with ultraviolet irradiation so that the epoxy-containing monomer undergoes a ring-opening polymerization reaction to cure the copolymer and form the adhesive. |
