abstract There is provided an antenna apparatus having trough aperture structure, which includes a substrate, an antenna, and a trough aperture structure. The substrate includes a surface. The antenna is disposed onto the surface of the substrate and includes a feed-in segment, a radiation portion, and a grounding portion, wherein the feed-in segment includes a feed-in end for allowing signal to feed in and a connection end opposite to the feed-in end. The radiation portion is connected with the connection end. The grounding portion includes a first support arm extended from the feed-in end and spaced to the radiation portion. The trough aperture structure comprises a first trough aperture penetrated to the substrate and located in between the radiation portion and the extension of the longitudinal direction of the first support arm, thereby enhancing the radiation efficacy of the antenna apparatus.
