abstract This invention provides a method for recovering dibasic acids from a cyclohexane oxidized waste alkali liquid, including steps of acidifying the cyclohexane oxidized waste alkali liquid and then obtaining an organic liquid from the acidified cyclohexane oxidized waste alkali liquid, afterward oxidizing and converting the organic liquid in the presence of an oxidizing agent and a catalyst selected from a heteropolyacid or heteropolyacid salt so as to obtain an oxidized solution, then extracting the oxidized solution and performing distillation to recover the dibasic acids. The method according to this invention obtains the organic liquid from the acidified waste alkali liquid and then takes the heteropolyacid or heteropolyacid salt as the catalyst to perform the oxidation and conversion reaction to have stability, and the recovery rate of the dibasic acids can be significantly improved.
