Provided are a fiber composed of a thermosetting polyamide resin composition containing (a) a polyamide containing a phenolic hydroxyl group and (b) an epoxy resin having 2 or more epoxy groups in a molecule, a nanofiber composed of the resin composition and obtained by an electrospinning process, a non-woven fabric obtained by heat-treating the laminate of the nanofiber, a method for making the nanofiber by an electrospinning process and a thermosetting polyamide resin composition for use in a fiber. The non-woven fabric is obtainable by only heat-treating the laminate of the nanofiber obtained by an electrospinning process. The nanofibers in the obtained non-woven fabric bind to one another by thermosetting, to confer the so-called high strength features, such as excellent mechanical strength, heat tolerance and drug tolerance, to the non-woven fabric. |
