abstract |
The present invention provides a method for making hydrogen storage structure, which starts from a step for providing a porous material having micropores and nanochannels, wherein the fraction of micropore volume is over 0.1 and micropore size is less than 2nm as well as the nanchannel width is less than 2.2nm. After that acid oxidation treatment for the porous material was conducted for forming a oxidized porous material. Finally, the oxidized porous material is doped with metal particles so as to forming the hydrogen storage structure. By means of the method of the present invention, it is capable of improving the hydrogen storage efficiency so as to make a room temperature hydrogen storage structure having hydrogen storage capability achieved amount of 5.9 wt%, which satisfies the on-board target criteria of DOE by 2010. |
